SPIN is a sports-based development and prevention programme for 9-18-year-olds. There are 33 groups across Estonia. Every week, there are 1.5-hour sessions for the participants that entail football practices and life-skill workshops. The programme is aimed at youth who need support developing social and self-determination skills. This is achieved by encouraging consistent participation, sharing knowledge, and practising it through team sports.
Good Deed is the founder of the non-profit SPIN. Previously, at the request of the Ministry of the Interior, we analysed the possibility of launching the programme in Estonia and developed an implementation and impact assessment model. We supported expanding the SPIN programme across Estonia with the Good Deed Impact Fund. We contributed to further evolving the programme’s impact study and securing funding.
