A fifth of Estonian adults are obese, a third of working-age people move actively less than 15 minutes a day, and almost half of all deaths are a result of lifestyle-related health risks.

Kõnnime Koos (trans. Let’s Walk Together) leads community-based guided walking groups across Estonia. Walking is one of the easiest ways to incorporate physical activity into everyday habits, positively affecting mood and health. Once a week, Kõnnime Koos organises a 45-60-minute walk at a moderate pace under the guidance of a group leader.

Kõnnime Koos is a NULA alumn. The Good Deed Impact Fund was the first supporter of the programme. We helped kick-start the first walking groups and contributed to the wages and the development of the programme model.
