In the Autumn of 2021, a new technology school for adults opened in Jõhvi that helps to cope with the growing demand for software developers. Studying is free and based on an international self-studying system emphasising teamwork and problem-solving skills. The programme lasts up to 2 years and is 100% practical and project-based.
The Good Deed Education Fund’s support helped to launch kood/Jõhvi and ensure the admission of 200 students in the first and second years of operation. The first 70 graduates have already entered the labour market.
