For improving the quality of education, it is critical to invest in the professional growth of teachers. Consistency and systemicity, as well as the opportunity to conceptualise and practice new teaching methods, are essential in supporting the development of teachers.

The programme, created in cooperation between English and Estonian teachers and researchers, consists of more than 100 development steps that accurately describe the most important aspects of teaching. Regular meetings with a study partner help consolidate new knowledge and understanding. They meet every 2 weeks, observe lessons, provide feedback, and choose a new development step to implement. With the support of the Good Deed Education Fund, the programme is expanding across Estonia and operates in 10 schools.
